Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria now predicts that Kenya Kwanza’s presidential candidate William Ruto shall win in the August 9th elections with 61.36 percent. His closest competitor who is Azimio’s candidate Raila Odina shall get 38.64 percent.
In the poll Kuria has listed all counties in the Rift Valley and Central regions as being Ruto’s strongholds. They include non-traditional strongholds such as Transnzoia and Samburu. In all those strongholds has apportioned between 80 and 90 percent to William Ruto.
Raila has also retained most of his traditional strongholds. However, if the polls are anything to go by, Raila Odinga has a portion of his support in areas such as Nyamira, Kisii, Kilifi, Mombasa, Lamu, Tana River and Taita Taveta. He has lost his support in the Western region.
According to Moses Kuria, William Ruto shall also get 60 percent of the Nairobi votes. In an earlier post, Moses Kuria claimed to have accurately predicted poll results from 1992 thus having great confidence in his ability to crunch numbers and give scientific results. However the polls released also have some errors with counties Bomet and Kericho counties missing and Transnzoia and Samburu having double entries. Do you agree with Moses Kuria?
